Using diffusion-weighted MRI techniques to diagnose and stratify brain tumours

Summary

Gliomas are the most common primary intra-axial brain tumours. Precise and robust diagnosis, staging and stratification are crucial for implementing successful management strategies and predicting their outcome. This project will investigate evolving methods including diffusional kurtosis imaging, arterial spin labelling, and dynamic contrast enhanced perfusion MRI in pre- and post-treatment settings through a portfolio of work including systematic review and meta-analyses and modelling studies.
