HEE NCEL/CLAHRC fellowship programme

Funded by Health Education England (HEE), working across North Central and East London (NCEL), we have launched a research fellowship scheme for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, and healthcare scientists. The aim of this initiative is to raise levels of research activity amongst this group of staff in North Central and East London and develop future research leaders. The scheme provides fellows with:

  • Opportunities to develop their career as a clinical academic
  • Protected time to develop an application for external funding to undertake further postgraduate study (e.g. NIHR PhD fellowships).

Our Fellows are seconded to the CLAHRC, four days a week for one year. Each fellow works within a CLAHRC research theme, either on a project of their choosing or a current CLAHRC project.

Read on below for more information about our Fellows and their projects.
