Summary
Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) is a new integrated model of care which involves both mental health and police workers to provide support to service users who struggle to manage high frequency and high risk crisis behaviours. The programme was introduced on the Isle of Wight in 2013, and is now being trialled across several London sites. The project combines quantitative and qualitative methods with the aim of evaluating the feasibility of implementing the programme in London, as well as the feasibility of carrying out a randomised control trial on a larger scale.
